According to Zhitong Finance App, Bay Area Development (00737) issued an announcement. After passing the public tender and bidding procedures at the Guangzhou Public Resources Exchange Center, Guangshenzhu Company signed a construction supervision contract with Guangdong Xiangfei (JL1 section) and a construction supervision contract (JL2 section) with Guangdong Hualu respectively on September 21, 2026 (after the trading period).

According to the construction supervision contract, the relevant supervisory party will undertake construction supervision work for each section of the Shenzhen section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway. The total contract price is RMB 106,313,195, of which the contract price for the construction supervision contract (JL1 section) is RMB 38,191,800, and the contract price for the construction supervision contract (JL2 section) is RMB 68,121,395.

The investment, construction, operation and maintenance of expressways is one of the Group's main businesses. The conclusion of the construction supervision contract is part of the implementation of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway. It will help improve the traffic capacity and service level of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, strengthen the Group's core competitiveness in the toll road industry, and conform to the Group's development strategy.

As various supervisors under the construction supervision contract, Guangdong Xiangfei and Guangdong Hualu were selected as the winning bidders for the corresponding construction supervision contract. They all passed standardized bidding procedures stipulated in China's bidding laws and regulations, and ranked first among all bidding units. According to the above laws and regulations, the bidder with the highest overall rating will rank first and be confirmed as the winning bidder. The score is assessed by an independent bidding committee (more than half of the committee members are randomly selected by Guangshenzhu Company from a database of external experts) based on a set of scoring criteria, which take into account a series of standard factors specified in the tender documents, including but not limited to the bid price, experience and performance, technical ability and reputation.
