On September 21, the Information Office of the Qingdao Municipal Government held a routine policy briefing to introduce the contents of the “Three-Year Action Plan for the Green Transformation of Qingdao Port”. The plan proposes to strive to basically establish a nationally leading “electricity as the core, clean lead” green port benchmark by 2028, and the level of green and low-carbon development will remain at the forefront of coastal ports. By 2030, the port's green energy self-sufficiency capacity will steadily increase, and a new energy supply system with green electricity as the support, hydrogen energy as the feature, and green fuel injection as the new business format will continue to decline. The intensity of carbon emissions will continue to decline, setting a national benchmark for low-carbon port development and energy transformation.
