Yihao New Materials (301176.SZ) plans to acquire at least 78% of Mingfeng Electronics's shares to enrich the layout of high-end copper foil products

According to Zhitong Finance App News, Yihao New Materials (301176.SZ) announced that the total capital raised by issuing shares to specific targets shall not exceed 1.8 billion yuan. The net capital raised after deducting issuance fees will be invested in the capital increase to acquire no less than 78% of the shares of Jiangsu Mingfeng Electronic Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (“Mingfeng Electronics”).

According to reports, Mingfeng Electronics' main business is the R&D, production and sale of high-performance copper foil. The products include copper foil for electronic circuits and lithium copper foil, with an annual design capacity of 70,000 tons (including 10,000 tons of technological transformation and production capacity under construction). The main customers of the target company include leading companies in the lithium battery industry such as Ningde Times, Ruipu Lanjun, Haichen Energy Storage, Penghui Energy, and Zhongtian Technology, and has hundreds of cooperative customers in the field of copper foil for electronic circuits, as well as many high-quality potential customer resources in the copper foil industry. Mingfeng Electronics has mastered a mature special additive and formulation system for electrolytic copper foil. At the same time, it also has core technical capabilities for independent transformation of production equipment and precise control of process parameters. It has a certain technical accumulation in HVLP copper foil, ultra-thin lithium copper foil, and carrier copper foil.
