Glencore Cleared to Sue Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery Over Crude Supply

08:10 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- London's High Court cleared Glencore (GLEN.L, GLN.JO) to sue the now-insolvent Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery over more than $230 million of oil it supplied before the refinery collapsed, according to a judgment released Monday. The commodity trading giant wants the contracts related to the sale of the crude cancelled, and the oil or proceeds Prax made from it traced. It alleged in court in July that the crude was procured fraudulently.
