The evaluation results showed that during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Yellow River Basin, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the Qinling region, the coastal zone, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, etc., the ecological protection red line area remained stable, moderate and improved, and the main indicators such as water conservation, biodiversity protection, and vegetation cover were improved. There were no major or major ecological damage incidents or environmental emergencies.
