The 48th WorldSkills Competition opened in Shanghai on the evening of September 22nd. The theme of this year's competition is “Skills Change World Skills and Illuminate the Future”. There are 64 contests covering six major fields, including transportation and logistics, structural and construction technology, manufacturing and engineering technology, information and communication technology, creative arts and fashion, and social and personal services. 1,385 contestants from 68 countries and regions participated in the competition. The 71 contestants from the Chinese delegation will participate in all events, fully showcasing the superb skills and good manners of skilled Chinese youth in the new era. The competition will host the WorldSkills Conference and WorldSkills Expo at the same time. The competition will close on September 27th.
