Robertet SA (EPA:RBT) came out with its interim results last week, and we wanted to see how the business is performing and what industry forecasters think of the company following this report. Results were roughly in line with estimates, with revenues of €444m and statutory earnings per share of €47.29. Following the result, the analysts have updated their earnings model, and it would be good to know whether they think there's been a strong change in the company's prospects, or if it's business as usual. Readers will be glad to know we've aggregated the latest statutory forecasts to see whether the analysts have changed their mind on Robertet after the latest results.
Taking into account the latest results, the current consensus from Robertet's eight analysts is for revenues of €862.7m in 2026. This would reflect a modest 2.5% increase on its revenue over the past 12 months. Yet prior to the latest earnings, the analysts had been anticipated revenues of €869.4m and earnings per share (EPS) of €45.60 in 2026. So we can see that while the consensus made no real change to its revenue estimates, it also no longer provides an earnings per share estimate. This suggests that revenues are what the market is focusing on after the latest results.

There's been no real change to the consensus price target of €933, with Robertet seemingly executing in line with expectations. That's not the only conclusion we can draw from this data however, as some investors also like to consider the spread in estimates when evaluating analyst price targets. There are some variant perceptions on Robertet, with the most bullish analyst valuing it at €1,100 and the most bearish at €850 per share. This is a very narrow spread of estimates, implying either that Robertet is an easy company to value, or - more likely - the analysts are relying heavily on some key assumptions.
One way to get more context on these forecasts is to look at how they compare to both past performance, and how other companies in the same industry are performing. It's pretty clear that there is an expectation that Robertet's revenue growth will slow down substantially, with revenues to the end of 2026 expected to display 5.0% growth on an annualised basis. This is compared to a historical growth rate of 7.8% over the past five years. Compare this to the 14 other companies in this industry with analyst coverage, which are forecast to grow their revenue at 5.0% per year. Factoring in the forecast slowdown in growth, it looks like Robertet is forecast to grow at about the same rate as the wider industry.
The clear take away from these updates is that the analysts made no change to their revenue estimates for next year, with the business apparently performing in line with their models. Happily, there were no real changes to revenue forecasts, with the business still expected to grow in line with the overall industry. There was no real change to the consensus price target, suggesting that the intrinsic value of the business has not undergone any major changes with the latest estimates.
