AstraZeneca, Unicef Kick Start New Phase of Young Health Program

02:53 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AstraZeneca (AZN.L, AZN.ST) launched a new five-year phase of its Young Health Program alongside Unicef and 60 non-governmental organizations, according to a Wednesday release. In the latest phase, the parties aim to reach an additional 10 million young people in underserved communities and train 800,000 youth advocates on the prevention of cancer, diabetes, heart and lung diseases, and other conditions by 2030. Since the program was founded in 2010, the biopharmaceutical company has invested over $100 million in youth health equity.
