The Zhitong Finance App learned that Accenture (ACN.US) announced on Tuesday that it is cooperating with AWS, a subsidiary of Amazon (AMZN.US), to launch technical solutions for medium-sized enterprises, focusing on cloud migration, security, data management and artificial intelligence. These solutions will be offered through the AWS Marketplace, and the tool features include migrating virtual machines to AWS, discovering and optimizing cloud spending, securing cloud systems, and testing the potential risks of AI systems.

The related program is part of Accenture Edge, and the business targets companies with annual revenue of 300 million to 3 billion US dollars.

The partnership also covers customer service technology, including conversational AI and virtual agents, and tools to help enterprises identify data sources and dependencies during cloud migration.

Accenture said Toronto-area electronic toll motorway operator 407 ETR is one of its customers. The company collaborated with Accenture's NeuraFlash division and AWS to build a new customer service system while maintaining existing operations.

Srini Subramanian, CEO of Accenture Edge, said, “Midsize businesses need practical ways to quickly compete using AI, a modern technology foundation, and solutions adapted to their size. “This partnership combines Accenture's industry and functional expertise with AWS's cloud and AI services to provide repeatable, adaptable solutions to help midsize customers move faster from vision to results.”

Chris Sullivan, vice president of sales and development at AWS Americas and Industry Partners, emphasized, “For midsize businesses, the key is not just getting technology, but seeing the rewards from it. “Accenture Edge solutions are built on AWS's advanced cloud and AI services, providing customers with security, model choices, and cost flexibility to confidently modernize and drive real ROI.”

Accenture shares rose 0.6% in the premarket, continuing Monday's gains. Earlier, AI company Anthropic reached a partnership with this technology consulting firm to jointly test the security of its advanced artificial intelligence models.
