According to the Zhitong Finance App, Zijinlongjing (600388.SH) announced that Zijinlong Clean Energy Co., Ltd. (“Zijinlong Clean Energy”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, plans to invest in the construction of the second phase of the Rosebel Gold Mine optical storage project in Suriname. The construction scale of the project is 170 MWp photovoltaic+120 MW/120 MWh energy storage. The total investment amount of the project is about 150 million US dollars, which is to be funded by the company itself. Zijinlong Clean Energy has built the first phase of a 25MWP+12.5MW/25MWh optical storage project in the mining area, which will be officially put into operation in December 2025. The project can guarantee a stable supply of energy from the Rosebel Gold Mine, reduce electricity costs, and bring sustainable profit growth to the company.
