EU Clears Heidelberg Materials, Francisco Partners' Joint Purchase of Command Alkon

08:26 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission cleared the joint takeover of US-based Project Potter, or Command Alkon, by investment firm Francisco Partners and building materials maker Heidelberg Materials (HEI.F). The regulator said Wednesday the transaction, which concerns the supply of automation software technology in the heavy building materials market, would not raise competition concerns due to the venture's negligible activities in the European Economic Area.
