UK, Philippines Partner to Boost Bilateral Trade Cooperation on Infrastructure

11:17 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK and Philippine governments signed a partnership agreement to bolster trade cooperation on infrastructure between the two countries, according to a Wednesday release. Under the deal, eligible Philippine government infrastructure projects will be given access to the UK Export Finance's funding of up to 5 billion pounds sterling, as well as to British expertise, goods, and services.
