Thailand Stock Exchange Chairman Assadji Kongsiri issued a statement on Friday saying that the Stock Exchange of Thailand has signed a memorandum of understanding with the New York Stock Exchange to establish a dual listing cooperation framework. The agreement covers product and index development, ETF cross-listing, market data, ESG products, and information sharing. The purpose of this cooperation is to help Thai listed companies better reach global investors and capital, and at the same time broaden channels for international investors to invest in Thai assets. The cooperation will also provide more financing options for overseas companies investing in Thailand to help the Thai government in its efforts to attract investment.
