06:57 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg forecasts ABB (ABBN.SW, ABB.ST) will report growth in revenue and order intake when it releases its third-quarter results on Oct. 20, supported by continued positive underlying trends. The electrification and automation group's revenue and order intake are projected to reach $9.80 billion and $11.38 billion in the quarter, up 15% and 32% on an annual basis, respectively, according to a Friday note. "We expect a continuation of the main trends from Q2 this quarter, including another strong result for Electrification orders, while broadly higher volumes across the business will likely support margin expansion. However, ABB's ability to cope with rising inflation will be a focus, and we could see some pressure on price/cost given the time lag in passing on higher prices," the research firm said. Analysts also see high-voltage data centers as a potential revenue growth driver for the company, highlighting that its new Infinitus product portfolio is well placed for the transition of data centers to 800-volt direct current architectures. The hold recommendation on the stock and price target of 80 francs remain unchanged.
