11:14 PM EDT, 09/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates with Armani's statement) Giorgio Armani SpA, d/b/a Armani, will reportedly start discussions with multiple luxury companies for the potential sale of a 15% stake in the company, London's Financial Times reported Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter. The Italian luxury fashion group will reportedly talk with beauty products giant L'Oréal (OR.PA), luxury goods group LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton (MC.PA), and luxury eyewear maker EssilorLuxottica (EL.PA). The sources added that Armani is said to consider splitting the 15% stake between the three groups. The divestment aims to streamline its brand, as well as expand its portfolio. Additionally, people familiar with the matter noted that the potential deal is valued at 10 billion euros. If plans fall through, the group would potentially consider a stock listing. Armani declined to comment when reached by MT Newswires, while L'Oréal, LVMH, and EssilorLuxottica did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
