Bittium to Merge Engineering Business into Defense Unit

01:42 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bittium (BITTI.HE) plans to merge its engineering services business with its defense and security segment as the radio communication technology company shifts its focus towards the defense industry. The new integrated entity will comprise two mutually supporting areas, tactical communications and intelligent connectivity, the company said Wednesday. The changes, effective Jan. 1, 2027, will not affect its medical business segment, which will remain independent and focus on developing its cardiac and sleep businesses for international markets.
