Arecor Therapeutics to Raise GBP5 Million Equity

02:42 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Clinical-stage biotech company Arecor Therapeutics (AREC.L) plans to raise 5.1 million pounds sterling through a share placement and a retail offer. Under the placement, the company plans to sell 7,352,941 shares at 0.68 pound per share, according to a Wednesday filing. It would also offer up to 191,176 shares at the same price under the retail offer to raise 130,000 pounds. Proceeds are earmarked to enhance the balance sheet for the expanded partnership negotiations with multiple insulin pump companies and to commit to critical-path insulin development activities. The proceeds will also help the company extend its cash runway to December 2027.
