04:39 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tullow Oil (TLW.L) reported that the International Chamber of Commerce tribunal ruled against it in a dispute over a $196.5 million corporate income tax assessment. The London-listed oil company said Wednesday the tribunal ruled that the assessment, related to proceeds Tullow received during the financial years 2016 to 2019 under its corporate business interruption insurance policy, does not breach its petroleum agreements. It added that the tribunal also ruled that the assessment of 100% penalties falls outside the scope of the contractual protections in those agreements. Tullow said it will consider its next steps after further discussions with the government of Ghana.
