Hargreaves Services Named Preferred Bidder for Logistics Contract in Scotland

06:39 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hargreaves Services (HSP.L) was selected as the preferred bidder for a long-term logistics contract with Australian recycling and resource recovery company Re.Group, according to a Wednesday release. Under the proposed agreement, the London-listed diversified group will transport returned drinks containers from retail return points in Scotland to designated processing facilities. Contract terms are still being finalized and will be disclosed upon signing. Operations are due to start when the UK Deposit Return Scheme launches in October 2027.
