12:23 AM EDT, 10/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BP (BP.L) said its recent meeting with elected representatives of the United Steelworkers union representing workers at its Whiting refinery in the US made no progress. The oil and gas company said Thursday that key issues continue to divide the parties, adding that it remains committed to bargaining in good faith to reach an agreement to bring union-represented employees back to work. BP assured that the ongoing labor dispute is not affecting operations at the site.
