According to statistics from the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association, the total number of newly registered passenger cars imported in South Korea last month was 34,904, an increase of 6.3% over the previous year. Tesla led the market with 12,372 units sold and has been at the top of the list since February. BMW is in second place with 6066 cars, followed by Mercedes-Benz and BYD.
