Thanks to participation in a number of major Asian and US stock issuance projects, Citigroup ranked first in the global initial public offering underwriting business this year up to September. According to the data, in the IPO underwriting rankings, Citi is slightly higher than Goldman Sachs Group. At the same time, the data shows that if a wider range of equity financing channels are used, Goldman Sachs is still number one in the world's equity issuance and underwriting. Citi participated in projects including the US$2.4 billion listing completed by the National Stock Exchange of India in September in Mumbai, which is one of the largest listed projects in Indian history; in July, it served as the global lead coordinator for SK Hynix's US$26.5 billion NASDAQ listing project. The deal was the largest foreign corporate stock offering in US history; and also participated in SpaceX's landmark IPO of 86 billion US dollars in June.
