Germany's Monthly Industrial Output Up 2% in August

02:12 AM EDT, 10/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's industrial production rose 2% month over month in August, following a revised 1.2% decrease earlier, provisional data from the Federal Statistical Office showed Wednesday. Analysts expected a 0.5% gain for the month. On a yearly basis, German industrial output was 2.3% higher, against the revised 1.8% fall earlier.
