SoftBank Group, Grab Holdings and Sarawak Petroleum have signed a framework agreement to explore the development of artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure platforms in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. The three parties will work together to develop a phased roadmap covering AI computing power, robotics technology, and talent development. SoftBank will provide expertise in AI infrastructure and semiconductors; Grab will introduce it to its digital ecosystem in Southeast Asia. PETROS, on the other hand, will rely on the “Sarawak Gas Road Map” and the Kuching Low-Carbon Hub to make full use of Sarawak's energy resources.
