Kioxia announced the launch of the first E1.L SSD using the eighth-generation BiCS FLASH™ QLC flash memory. As data requirements continue to grow, hyperscale data centers are increasingly adopting high-density designs to achieve greater storage capacity within limited server space. The Kioxia LD4 series is designed for high-density 1U servers and read-intensive storage applications. Currently, Kioxia LD4 series SSDs are undergoing sample testing.
