Marvell Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:MRVL) stock rose nearly 2% during Friday’s premarket session as semiconductor stocks benefited from stronger market sentiment and investors assessed the company’s latest AI infrastructure developments.

Nasdaq futures gained 0.84%, while S&P 500 futures climbed 0.40%.

Marvell To Showcase AI Infrastructure Technologies

Marvell announced Thursday that it will showcase its AI data center infrastructure solutions at the 2026 Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, scheduled for Oct. 12-15 in San Jose, California.

The company will highlight networking, memory, storage and connectivity technologies designed to improve AI infrastructure performance, scalability and power efficiency.

Key demonstrations will include its Teralynx T100 102.4T data center switch, Structera CXL memory expansion technology and Ara DSP 1.6T optical connectivity solutions.

Marvell will also showcase 800G optical modules, 1.6T active electrical cables, PCIe 6.0 SSD controllers and hardware security technologies.

These products aim to address rising AI computing demands, including memory bottlenecks and faster data transmission.

Additionally, Marvell executives and engineers will participate in 14 sessions covering AI connectivity, data center security and open infrastructure standards.

Marvell Targets Up To $90 Billion In Revenue

The technology showcase follows Marvell’s Tuesday investor day, where the company outlined ambitious long-term growth projections.

Marvell expects fiscal 2031 revenue of $70 billion to $90 billion, driven by growing demand for custom AI chips and data center connectivity products.

The outlook underscores management’s confidence in sustained AI infrastructure spending as technology companies expand computing capacity.

Technical Analysis

Marvell remains in a long-term uptrend, with shares gaining 202.89% over the past 12 months.

The stock trades 8.8% above its 20-day simple moving average (SMA) of $256.51 and 63.4% above its 200-day SMA of $170.83.

While these levels indicate strong bullish momentum, the wide gap above longer-term averages could increase the risk of a pullback.

The moving average convergence divergence (MACD) indicator remains above its signal line, with a positive histogram. This suggests strengthening bullish momentum.

Additionally, the 20-day SMA remains above the 50-day SMA. A golden cross formed in October 2025, when the 50-day SMA moved above the 200-day SMA.

Traders may watch $300 as the next resistance level, while $244 represents a potential support area.

Analyst Outlook

Marvell carries a consensus Buy rating, with an average price forecast of $348.72. On Wednesday, several analysts raised their price forecasts:

  • UBS: Maintained Buy and raised its price forecast to $350.

The stock trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 90.9, reflecting elevated growth expectations.

Benzinga Edge Rankings

Marvell’s Benzinga Edge Rankings highlight strong growth and momentum but also indicate a premium valuation.

The stock has a Momentum score of 98.99 and a Growth score of 99.55, reflecting its strong performance and growth profile.

However, its Value score of just 1.51 suggests that investors are paying a significant premium for expected future growth.

This combination indicates strong market sentiment but also leaves the stock vulnerable if growth expectations weaken.
