According to US media reports, early this morning local time, a Columbia Airlines Airbus A320 flying from Medellin, Colombia to New York, USA, experienced severe air flow bumps during the flight. According to data from the flight tracking website, the airliner “dropped 25,000 feet in a few minutes” and was eventually forced to divert and land in Miami. The Miami Fire Department said that at least 8 people on the plane were injured and taken to the hospital, one of whom was in serious condition.
