According to Standard Chartered Bank's October outlook for the Chinese market, China's assets are currently more balanced, which is reflected in three aspects. First, China's major assets are back in balance, and stock market revisions since the third quarter have brought stocks and bonds back to a relatively balanced level; second, growth/value has returned to a reasonable level of relative overestimation, that is, excess earnings have deviated significantly from profit growth differences and returned to normal; third, investors need to rebalance between industrial investment and a stable dividend style. At the same time, considering that there is limited room for interest rates to decline in China, there is still room for narrowing term spreads, and bond investment returns can be increased by lengthening the long-term period. Furthermore, the bank has set Chinese stocks as the core allocation. Although the valuation of China's onshore stocks is higher than the historical average, the equity risk premium for onshore stocks is back above the historical median, that is, stocks are not significantly overvalued compared to bond assets. The proposal is based on a dividend style. Industrial investment pursues long-term returns, overfitting industries such as information technology, communication services, energy, and raw materials; the stock opportunity type includes the AI industry chain; non-ferrous metals; new power systems; and the bond opportunity type is a 30-year treasury bond.
