The Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology recently officially issued the “Sichuan Provincial Work Plan for Promoting the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises”. The “Plan” clearly will thoroughly implement special digital empowerment actions for small and medium-sized enterprises, improve the smart transformation and digital transformation evaluation index system in the manufacturing industry, carry out “file cards” for enterprises, and promote “small, quick and easy” digital products and solutions. It also promotes chain owner enterprises to carry out pilot quality management through the supply chain to drive collaborative transformation between upstream and downstream enterprises. According to the “Plan”, by 2030, specialized, and new SMEs will account for 95% of the digital intelligence level 2. In terms of green and low carbon, it will further promote green technology and equipment, guide small and medium-sized enterprises to build green factories and zero-carbon factories, and support characteristic industrial clusters to improve green and low-carbon public facilities.
