Recently, Xiaopeng Group was elected Secretary General of the “Autonomous Driving Scenario-Related Information Exchange Working Group” newly established within the framework of the Automation/Autonomous Driving and Connected Vehicles Working Group under the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Vehicle Regulations Coordination System. It is responsible for supporting the coordination and management of affairs of the working group, and promoting the exchange of information and experience between global regulators, certification authorities, technical experts and the industry on actual operating scenarios of autonomous driving. This is the first time that a Chinese company has served as Secretary General under the core framework of the United Nations autonomous driving regulations.
