Yesterday, the Tuding freight train from Chengdu in Sichuan to Lhasa in Tibet was officially launched. This first train consists of 25 cars, with a total cargo weight of over 500 tons. The cargo categories cover more than ten categories such as timber, food, chemicals, and metal products. The train passes through various main railway lines such as Baocheng, Lanyu, Qinghai-Tibet, etc., and the entire journey takes about 68 hours. After being included in the fourth quarter train operation map, there was a fixed number of trains and operating times between Sichuan and Tibet, and the transportation of materials into Tibet was more stable.
