EU OKs Samsung Electronics Unit's Purchase of ZF Capri HoldCo

The regulator said Monday that the deal, which concerns passenger vehicle advanced driver assistance systems, would not raise competition concerns due to its minimal impact on market competition. Additionally, the regulator found that the combined market shares of the companies would be moderate, with the merged entity not having the ability or incentive to restrict rival suppliers to Samsung image sensors and memory chip components.
