02:56 AM EDT, 10/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Block Energy (BLOE.L) reported that a 3D seismic program at the Martkopi Terrace prospect in Georgia was completed. The survey assessed the prospect at 301.7 million barrels of oil equivalent of gross mean unrisked recoverable prospective resources, the oil and gas company said Tuesday. The Martkopi Terrace prospect is part of the XIQ license, which was farmed out to Aspect Georgia, a subsidiary of US-based Aspect Energy. Aspect Georgia could earn up to a 75% working interest in the license through completion of a staged, fully funded work program. It also holds an option to increase its working interest to 92.5% for additional cash and royalty consideration. The data will now be processed and interpreted, which could improve subsurface imaging, refine the structural definition, and support the selection of future exploration drilling locations.
