US Central Command: On October 6, the US military destroyed an Iran-linked dhow in the Gulf of Oman. The ship was monitoring and targeting US Navy ships at the time. Over the past seven months, in addition to attacking US warships, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran has continued to indiscriminately attack thousands of civilian crew members sailing in this sea area. Before the ship was destroyed, the people on board had been safely evacuated, and the repatriation process was in progress.
