Afry Wins Technical Advisory Role for Vietnam's Thermal Power Project

02:12 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Afry (AFRY.ST) was selected as the international technical adviser for the 1.5-gigawatt Quynh Lap LNG thermal power project in Tan Mai Ward, Vietnam. The project, which is part of the country's Power Development Plan VIII, will comprise an onshore LNG receiving terminal supplying natural gas to the power plant, forming an integrated LNG-to-power development, according to a Thursday release. Under the agreement, the Stockholm-listed engineering services group will provide front-end engineering design for the onshore LNG receiving terminal and associated marine infrastructure, as well as environmental and social impact assessment services for the entire plant.
