British Monthly Industrial Production Climbs 0.8% in August

02:22 AM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UK industrial production rose 0.8% month over month in August, following a revised 0.3% gain in July, the Office for National Statistics said Thursday. Analysts expected a 0.1% decrease for the month. On a yearly basis, UK industrial output grew 1.6%, against the revised 0.8% increase earlier and the consensus estimate of a 0.7% uptick.
