Today, the reporter learned from CNPC that China's first full-chain green low-carbon ethylene project, Dushanzi Petrochemical's 1.2 million ton ethylene project, has been put into full commercial operation. The Dushanzi Petrochemical Tarim 1.2 million ton ethylene project is located in the Korla Shangku High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Xinjiang as a national green and low carbon demonstration project. The project built a closed loop of “green power direct connection+carbon capture+blue hydrogen+blue ammonia+green fertilizer”, which can consume 1 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity per year, produce 900,000 tons of full-density polyethylene per year, and have a total production capacity of 1.45 million tons of rubber and plastic products, filling the gap in the high-end polyolefin and synthetic rubber new materials industry in southern Xinjiang.
