Yemen's Houthis issued a statement today saying that the Saudi Arabian-led coalition forces have been carrying out air raids on Yemen for many years. Over the past 12 years, they have carried out more than 274,000 air strikes, causing casualties. Since Saudi Arabia resumed military operations and escalated military attacks on Yemen, it has launched more than 2,350 air and missile attacks. The #胡塞武装称行动属于防御 # statement said that the Houthis have issued warnings to international aviation and shipping companies several times before, saying that there are security risks in Saudi airspace and airports, with the exception of the skies over Mecca and Medina. This statement reaffirms the relevant warning. The statement also said that the relevant actions of the Houthis were “defensive,” and stated that until Saudi Arabia ceases military action and blockade against Yemen, it reserves the right to take countermeasures.
