Yemeni Houthi spokesman Yahya Sareya once again warned on the 15th that Saudi airspace and airports are “unsafe,” with the exception of Mecca and Medina. Sareya posted a statement on social media on the same day saying that the Houthis have issued similar warnings to various airlines several times before, and are capable of taking “equal responses” to Saudi military actions against areas controlled by the Houthis. He also said that the military operations of the Houthis are defensive, and related operations will continue until Saudi Arabia stops attacking and blocking areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen. Earlier in the day, Sareya said in another statement that the organization did not launch any attacks on Saudi territory that day, and that Saudi claims about the attack on Medina were untrue.
