Evernorth, with holdings of 473 million XRP, is now the largest publicly traded XRP treasury company.
Spot XRP ETFs currently hold 1.2 billion XRP, more than twice the amount held by Evernorth.
XRP is down 28% in 2026, even with the arrival of new spot XRP ETFs last year.
Investors now have a new way to get exposure to XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) without dipping their toes into the spot crypto market. On Oct. 12, Evernorth Holdings (NASDAQ: XRPN) debuted on the Nasdaq as the largest publicly traded XRP treasury company in the world, with holdings of 473 million XRP.
That should be music to the ears of crypto investors, who have seen the price of XRP drop by 28% in 2026. Steady buying from Evernorth should help to push the price of XRP higher next year. But is that really the case?
Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
In 2025, new XRP treasury companies began to emerge. But they were tiny, and any accumulation of XRP by them had no meaningful impact on market demand.
Moreover, many of these were not even "pure-play" XRP treasury companies. For example, one was an agriculture technology company making the pivot into crypto. Another was a clean energy company loading up on XRP at bargain prices.

That's why the arrival of Evernorth is potentially so important. It's a pure-play XRP treasury company. Moreover, it's backed by Ripple, the company behind the XRP token. Making things even better, Evernorth CEO Asheesh Birla is a former senior executive at Ripple, helping to run its global payments business. So Evernorth very clearly understands the utility of the XRP token.
One way to think about Evernorth is that it could become "the Strategy of XRP." If Strategy buys Bitcoin, investors notice, and they are encouraged to buy Bitcoin for their own portfolios. In much the same way, if Evernorth buys XRP, investors will notice and be encouraged to buy XRP.
It's uncertain, though, just how much impact Evernorth will have on XRP's price. After all, the total circulating supply of XRP is 63 billion, and the maximum lifetime supply is 100 billion. From that perspective, Evernorth's total holdings of 473 million, while impressive, are relatively minuscule. That's less than 1% of all XRP in circulation.
And Evernorth is nowhere near the heft and size of the spot XRP ETFs. These ETFs currently hold 1.2 billion XRP, more than twice the amount held by Evernorth. These ETFs, which began launching at the end of last year, have had little to no impact on XRP's price in 2026. So, Evernorth will likely have little to no impact on XRP's price in 2027.
XRP will need some other catalyst if it hopes to skyrocket in value in 2027. The launch of the new spot XRP ETFs didn't work out as planned, and the emergence of big digital asset treasury companies probably won't either.
