New York-based International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) manufactures and markets food, beverage, health and biosciences, scent, and complementary adjacent products in the United States and internationally. Valued at a market cap of $22.9 billion, the company operates through Taste, Food Ingredients, Health & Biosciences, and Scent segments.

IFF is expected to release its Q3 2026 earnings on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, after the market closes. Ahead of the event, analysts expect the company’s EPS to be $0.80 on a diluted basis, down 23.8% from $1.05 in the year-ago quarter. The company has beaten Wall Street’s EPS estimates in two of its last four quarters, while missing on two.

For fiscal 2026, analysts project the company’s earnings per share to be $3.09, down 26.4% from $4.20 in fiscal 2025. However, its EPS is expected to rise 30.7% year over year (YoY) to $4.04 in fiscal 2027.

IFF stock has surged 45.8% over the past 52 weeks, outpacing the S&P 500 Index’s ($SPX) 16.1% rise and the State Street Basic Materials Select Sector SPDR ETF’s (XLB) 14% rise during the same time frame.

On Aug. 5, IFF stock rose nearly 9% following the release of its Q2 2026 earnings. The company’s revenue for the quarter came in at $2 billion and failed to meet the Street’s estimates. Moreover, its adjusted EPS amounted to $0.82, also failing to surpass the consensus estimates. IFF also lowered its outlook and now expects full-year revenue in the range of $7.4 billion to $7.6 billion. Despite all this, the company’s gross profit margin expanded by 6.4%, indicating improved profitability, with strong organic revenue growth of 6% year-over-year, beating expectations. These outweighed the headline misses and guidance cut, allowing investor confidence to grow and optimism.

Analysts are somewhat bullish on IFF, with the stock having a “Moderate Buy” rating overall. Among the 22 analysts covering the stock, 13 are recommending a “Strong Buy,” two suggest a “Moderate Buy,” and seven suggest a “Hold.” IFF’s average analyst price target of $95.74 indicates an upside of 6% from current levels.
