According to the Shanghai Securities Report, Wind data shows that as of 18:00 on October 18, 159 A-share companies had announced their third-quarter results forecasts. Of these, 132 companies were optimistic, including 98 pre-increases, 13 reversed losses, and 21 showed a slight increase, accounting for 83.02% of the overall expectations. Sixty-one companies, including Hengli Petrochemical, Liancun Instruments, Fudan Microelectronics, and Hanyu Pharmaceutical, expect net profit to increase by more than 100% year-on-year, with 7 of them increasing by more than 10 times. Sorting out the drivers for performance growth mainly focuses on two main lines: one is that the AI industry chain continues to be booming, and demand for computing power, servers, optical modules, PCBs, semiconductors, etc. is strong, driving the improvement of orders and profits of related companies; second, prices of cyclical products such as chemicals have rebounded, and the supply and demand pattern has improved in some segments to promote the restoration of corporate gross margins. In addition, overseas business has maintained relatively rapid growth, and has also provided incremental support for electronics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, computers and other industries.
