02:15 AM EDT, 10/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rubis (RUI.PA) proposed to end the general partner structure and convert into a joint-stock company with a management and supervisory board. The general partners of the French energy distributor would become reference shareholders with no executive management role, according to a Monday release. They would commit to holding their shares for two years and receive 12.7 million newly issued Rubis shares as compensation. Additionally, energy distribution division Rubis Énergie's Chief Executive Officer Jean-Christian Bergeron would chair the management board, while Marc-Olivier Laurent remains chairman of the planned 13-member supervisory board. While the supervisory board unanimously favors the proposal, it remains subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.
