The Zhitong Finance App learned that Palantir (PLTR.US) announced on Monday that it has reached a new agreement with managed cloud service provider Knox Systems to provide software delivery services to the US federal government through the cloud. The two companies said in a statement that Knox currently supports more than 100 software and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in the federal government environment. The partnership with Palantir will increase the speed of deployment of mission-critical software in the US Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) and IL5 environments. The parties did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.

Palantir executive Kevin Kawasaki said, “The task won't wait for technology to catch up. We started this business to quickly and securely deliver not only our software, but also other mission-critical software and tools to combatants and the US government, even in the most highly regulated environments. We're honored to partner with Knox to take this effort to the next level and further expand the reach of this work.”

Known as the “largest and longest running federally managed cloud,” Knox specifically deploys software for US defense and government customers, and can help customers complete FedRAMP licenses within 90 days. Meanwhile, Palantir has received numerous contracts from the US federal government.

In August 2025, Palantir signed a contract worth up to $10 billion with the US Army to integrate the military's software and data requirements over the next ten years and consolidate 75 fragmented contracts into a single enterprise-level agreement. In addition, Palantir has also become a key technical partner of the US Department of Defense's flagship AI project “Project Maven” (Expert Program). In addition to being deeply tied to the US military, Palantir also won a $30 million contract from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in April 2025 to develop an operating system that can identify undocumented immigrants and track self-evictions.
