A member of the Iranian parliament's energy committee said on Tuesday that Iran's energy sector needs to set up a “war room” and a single command center. He said that the country's energy shortage is no longer just a seasonal problem. Mohammed Kabamir said that the energy shortage was due to past mistakes at the energy strategy level. He added: “Some of the supply restrictions are due to international sanctions, which have prevented Iran from obtaining advanced mining and processing equipment.”
