Italy's Annual Construction Output Drops 2.2% in August

04:34 AM EDT, 10/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Italy's calendar-adjusted construction output index fell 2.2% year over year in August, following a revised 0.1% decrease in July, statistics agency Istat said Tuesday. On a monthly basis, the country's seasonally adjusted construction output declined 2.9%, against the revised 0.6% drop earlier.
