The reporter learned on October 20 that the National Health Commission, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the National Administration for Disease Control and Prevention recently revised the “Service Capacity Standards for Township Health Hospitals” and the “Service Capacity Standards for Community Health Service Centers” to form the “Service Capability Standards for Township Health Hospitals” and “Service Capability Standards for Community Health Service Centers”. The new version of the standard is divided into sections on service functions and resource allocation, basic medical care and public health services, business management, and comprehensive management, with further emphasis on medical quality, service optimization, and traditional Chinese medicine services. At the same time, the new version of the standard highlights the construction of characteristic departments, integration of medical prevention, rehabilitation and nursing, digital intelligence services, etc., leading the benchmarking and upgrading of primary medical and health institutions. Focus on key groups such as “one old, one young” to enhance service capabilities for the elderly, pediatrics, emergency first aid, etc. Encourage the provision of services such as family beds, long-term prescriptions, extended prescriptions, etc., as well as outpatient services such as door-to-door services and visiting medical treatment.
