The world digital economy industry (03708) plans to discount about 16.89% by issuing 78.25 million shares to raise about HK$14.232 million

According to Zhitong Finance App, the World Digital Economy Industry (03708) announced that on October 20, 2026 (after the trading period), the company signed a subscription agreement with the subscribing party. According to this, the subscriberer has agreed to subscribe, and the company has already agreed to allocate and issue a total of 78.25 million subscription shares. The subscription price is HK$0.182 per subscription share.

The subscribed shares account for approximately 10.76% of the Company's current issued share capital at the date of this announcement, and approximately 9.72% of the Company's issued share capital after the expansion of the subscribed shares (assuming that there is no other change in the Company's issued share capital from the date of this announcement to the date of completion).

The subscription price of HK$0.182 per share was discounted by approximately 16.89% compared to the closing price of HK$0.219 per share reported by the Stock Exchange on October 20, 2026 (the date of the subscription agreement).

The total proceeds and net proceeds (after deducting related expenses and professional fees) from the subscription will be approximately HK$14.242,000 and HK$14.232 million respectively. The net price of each subscribed share is approximately HK$0.182. The Company intends to use the proceeds from the subscription process as the general working capital of the Group.
