What TKH Group Holders Got Right

Simply Wall St·10/20/2026 10:31:16
Listen to the news

TKH Group spent much of 2025 wrestling with its Eemshaven subsea cable facility, where delays and line upgrades constrained what was supposed to be a flagship asset. Investors who held TKH Group from the start of the year are up 40.4%, including dividends. If you had put capital to work on 1 January 2026, you would probably be asking a simple question now: How much of that payoff really hinged on believing Eemshaven would eventually come good?

TKH Group has already moved. Pinpoint other ways to investigate the theme among 92 robotics and automation stocks.

The Argument You Would Have Been Weighing Up On TKH Group

The shares cost €36.56 at the start of the period, and anyone looking at TKH Group then was really choosing between two very different stories.

The bullish case saw a Fair Value of €53.5, a price implied by optimistic assumptions that digitalization, smart infrastructure demand, and a smooth Eemshaven ramp could support 5.8% annual revenue growth and profit margins rising to 8.8%.

The bearish narrative pointed to a Fair Value of €34, based on the idea that complex Eemshaven projects, wage pressure, and stiff cable competition might limit revenue expansion to 3.9% and margins to 6.8%.

What The Results Changed For TKH Group

The most important development for TKH Group was the rebound in H1 2026. Revenue reached €955.879m versus €858.144m a year earlier, while net income excluding extra items moved from €13.673m to €47.298m. Net margin shifted from 1.6% to 4.9%. That improvement supported parts of the optimistic case, although EBITA for 2025 had only tracked consensus and was lower year on year.

The lesson to carry elsewhere is simple. When a story hinges on a problem asset, such as Eemshaven, it is important to keep checking reported margin and segment profit rather than relying on headline growth alone.

What TKH Group's 40% Run Already Prices In

TKH Group now trades at €50.9 after a 40.4% gain from the start of the year. The selected Narrative argues that its Fair Value sits above that level, anchored in a stronger earnings and margin story than current pricing implies.

The focus is on faster improvement at Eemshaven, fuller use of connectivity capacity, and fresh profit streams from Smart Vision and UNIXX. The Narrative contends that today’s price still does not fully credit the possibility that these newer activities reshape the group’s earnings mix.

"Rapid operational improvements and strong demand from both wind and smart infrastructure segments could drive significant earnings and margin upside, surpassing market expectations. Strategic restructuring, digitalization, and new technology launches position TKH for higher profitability, enhanced cash flow, and sustained long-term growth across multiple verticals."
