On June 17, 2025, a major road traffic accident occurred where a bus collided with multiple vehicles and pedestrians at the intersection of Lianhe Road, Dadong District, Shenyang City. As a result, 6 people died after ineffective rescue, 16 were injured, 15 motor vehicles, 3 electric bicycles and some structures were damaged, resulting in direct economic losses of about 7.6 million yuan.
